Be ambulatory, or mobile, and capable of taking lifesaving action in an emergency
Have stable health
Require, and receive intermittent care, or treatment in the facility from a licensed health care professional either through contract, or by the facility if permitted by facility policy
Not require significant assistance from staff, or others with more than three activities of daily living (ADL)'s
Be independent and semi-independent, but shall not be dependent, or who would otherwise require inpatient hospital, or long term care
NOT require assistance with more than 9 medications
Higher (Intermediate) Level Any resident who would qualify medically for Intermediate Care (LTC) at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) under the normal Medicaid Contract, but for financial reasons does not qualify for Medicaid
